Sixth grade on fire, ODB lose a thriller and ODE take top spot as other games get effected by the rain. More 5 fors for the Tigers as the bowlers dominate.

4th Grade will play a 38 over game next week as rain stops the game

6th Grade have dominated their game vs Roleystone in Shamez’s 200th game. Bowling first we blasted them out in just over 17 overs for 32. It is the 5th time this season that 6th Grade has bowled a team out for under 50 runs. This time around it was Captain Steve Hall doing the damage taking a career best 6/10 off 9 overs along with Guri Singh taking 3/15. We then batted for 19 overs before rain halted the game finishing on 2/61 with Shamez on 20no. In a great spot for another outright victory.

7th Grade game vs Maddington was called off early with us batting on 3/69 after 14.4 overs with Siddhanth Mokala on 42no. It will resume next week.

ODA lost their game vs Kenwick. Batting first we could only muster 134 with Dwarakanath Canakapalli Naga top scoring with 44 and Ajay Reddy Janga making 25. We almost defended the target with Kenwick passing the score with 9 balls to spare. Dwarakanath Canakapalli Naga having a great game taking 3/23, Mouriyan Rajendran 2/24 and Yeshwanth Kallem 2/29.

ODB lost by 1 run in a thriller vs Hilton/Bicton. Bowling first we did a great job keeping them to 167 with Captain Suneeth Vinod Suseela leading the way with 5/21 along with Asish C Thomas taking 2/21, but 27 wides would prove costly. The run chase started badly losing 2 quick wickets but Sethuraj Rajendran would play a brilliant innings making 76 from 99 balls along with Asish C Thomas with 23 we would take it into the last over, needing 8 off the last over with 1 wicket in hand we could only muster 6 runs to miss out by the barest of margins. We still stay second on the ladder with one big game next week.

ODD will drop to second spot on the ladder with a surprise loss to Maddington. Bowling first we did not hit the mark letting Maddington compile 9/202 with the help of 41 extras. Toji Jose bowled well taking 4/24 and Subin Changazhikunnel Thomas 2/36. Our bats did not click as we were bowled out for just 87 with only 4 batsmen making it past 10. We will need a big game next week to take back top spot.

ODE bounced back to top spot with a great win vs Piara waters, Batting first we ended on 7/176 thanks mainly to 42 extras. Captain Mohamed Zainudeen top scoring with 29. After a quick start by Piara Waters our bowlers hit back bowling them out for 130, Yasas Gunasekara continuing his form with the ball taking 3/14 and Nuwan Arachchige taking 3/36. One more win to consolidate top spot.
