Fourth Grade slip into the finals as the Tigers get 6 teams into the Semi Final next week.
Fourth grade needed a win in their last game vs SJ Blues. Batting first in a 38 over game we posted 137 with Shahzad Rafique top scoring with 33, Muhammad Tariq Saleem 25 and Ajimon Paul Thurai 23. Our bowlers struck early but SJ Blues got on top and at 5/102 we needed a miracle. Vijay Kumar stepped up and took 5/43 along with Shahzad Rafique with 3/23, we took 5 wickets for 16 runs to bowl them out for 118 and book a finals berth next week. Well done Tigers!
Sixth Grade continued batting vs Roleystone ending on 5/201 before calling it a day. Keegan Bennett top scoring with 48, Matthew Pedulla 33 and Nanda Kumar Melari 36no. We finish top of the ladder.
Seventh Grade game was forfeited by Maddington so we will finish 3rd on the ladder.
ODA lost vs Leeming. Bowling first Leeming made 8/197 with Yeshwanth Kallem taking 2/31 and Reddy Madamshetti 2/46. We were then bowled out for just 67 with opener Yeshwanth Kallem making 47.
ODB game ended in a tie due to the weather. Batting first we made a good score of 203 thanks to a great knock from Yesudas Kuriakose with 64. In reply Willetton were on 3/136 when the game was called off Suneeth Vinod Suseela taking 2/16. We should finish 2nd on the ladder.
ODD lost their game vs Canning Vale. Bowling first they put on a big total of 6/204, Jijinlal Kg was impressive with 4/28. Our bats did not come to the party as we were bowled out for 149, Jijinlal Kg making 32 and Jobin Thomas 39 from no 10. We finish the season in 2nd place.
ODE lost their last game vs Cockburn. Batting first we were bundled out for just 94, Heshan Nanayakkara top scoring with 21. Cockburn ended on 7/154, Vihanga Silva taking 2/23, Rusiru Pitiyage 2/18 and Yasas Gunasekara 2/14. The loss sends us back to 2nd on the ladder.
