A weekend of very close games see us win 3 and lose 4 along with some outstanding batting and bowling.

4th Grade had a big game defending 101 vs Roleystone. Our bowlers kept us in the game and with Roleystone at 7/77 and then 8/91 it looked like we could pull it off, but it just got away from us with them passing our score and finishing on 149 from 73 overs. Great bowling from Sooraj Suresh with 4/30 and Shahzad Rafique 3/21 almost got us there. We batted again and hammered 3/89. We now must win the last game and rely on Maddington to lose to make finals.

6th Grade cemented top spot with a thrilling win vs Hilton/Bicton. Batting for another 6 overs we resumed at 7/135 where Guri went on the attack smashing 69no from 36 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes to get us to 199. Our bowlers then got on top of Hilton to have them reeling at 7/107 but a rear guard fightback had Hilton at 7/176, but a big wicket from Captain Steve Hall and then Guri Singh at 9/187, a final run out from Keeper Deepak Saini clinched the game with 2 overs to go, all out for 187. Steve Hall was inspirational with 3/47, Guri 2/33, Kulbir Singh 2/27 and Jack Robb 2/50. A real finals style win.

7th Grade booked a finals berth with a big win vs Thornlie, thanks to an amazing performance from Dinaker Narasani. It would prove costly as Kenwick made light of a great start to overhaul our total and post 8/179, Subin Changazhikunnel Thomas taking 4/32 and Ananthu Krishnan 3/35. We still hang on to top spot despite the loss.
