4 out of 4 wins at Tigerland

6th Grade were set 173 runs to win and scraped home in a thriller at Coker. Things seemed to be on track to an easy win with a 97 run partnership between Dempsey Badorek 67 and Shane Wood 69 and the score at 2/143 with only 31 needed, but a batting collapse sent shudders through the Tigers camp but Keegan steadied the ship and got the Tigers home by 3 runs. Well done Boys.

ODA had a commanding victory vs Phoenix, bowling first and keeping the opposition to 9/149 with top bowling from Gursewak Singh 4/33 and Vijay Kumar 2/15 keeping the score down. The chase was brilliantly executed losing only 3/222 with an unbroken 3rd wicket partnership of 134 between Umar Qureshi 53no and Vijay Kumar 79no finishing off the game. Waqas Mehdi 31 and Muhammad Ehsan 39 got the Tigers off to a great opening with a 65 run partnership. Graet game boys.

ODC played at away with another big win vs Leeming. Batting first the Tigers made 7/220 with Dinakar Narasani making a brilliant 84 and Abhishek Ghai continuing his fine form with 41. With the ball the boys defended well to bowl the Spartans out for 168, top bowling by Dwarakanth Canakapalli taking 4/36, Narasani 2/26 and Reddy Madamshetti 2/12. Keep up the good form fellas.

ODE had a commanding win vs Cockburn away from home, winning the toss and bowling first we bowled Cockburn out for just 98 with some super tight bowling and no bowler going for more than 19 runs. Steve Ambler 2/14, Asim Qureshi 2/19 and Manu Pathinaike 2/11 the best of the bowlers. The run chase was well paced passing the target with just 4 down in the 28th over. Shamez had a day out with a well compiled 45 and some great hitting by Manu 29 saw us reach 6/145. 7 games into the season and we haven’t been bowled out yet. Awesome job Tigers.
