4th Grade get to 3rd while our 6th Grade finish on a high, ODB misses out on a finals berth but we get 5 teams in the finals and 2 Tigers score centuries on the last qualifying week.
Fourth Grade needed to defend 163 vs Kwinana to take 3rd spot from them. Kwinana started very slowly as our bowlers squeezed them for every run. Vijay 2/44 got the breakthrough removing both openers as they slumped to 6/54 in the 40th over with the Tigers right on top. A late revival by Kwinana had the game in the balance as they reached 7/142 in the 64th over but Saeed Ahmad 3/23 would take 2 wickets and Waqas Khan 2/33 one as Kwinana fell 20 runs short of the target giving the Tigers a 3rd place finish. We will take on the Cockburn Cavaliers in the semi final next weekend.
Sixth Grade were chasing 117 in their final match vs Kwinana and got off to a bad start losing 2/8. Keegan scored 19 as we fell to 4/50 with Steve Hall playing a solid innings. Guri Singh smacked a quick 19 as we reached 5/77. Vinnie joined Steve as they added the winning runs with a 47 run partnership. Wynand joined Steve for a big 93 run partnership as Steve moved in on his first ever century, passing his previous highest score of 54no, he crunched one to the boundary to bring up his maiden century. A great way to finish the season on a high. Congrats Steve!

Seventh Grade were defending 108 vs Kardinya. With a lot of their players out for this game it was always going to be tough as Kardinya piled on the runs to reach 8/240, Aamer, Ankam and Warren taking 2 wickets each, They will take on Forrestdale next week in the semi final with most of the team back as we finished 3rd on the ladder. Good luck Tigers.
ODB needed to win their last game vs Kwinana but it was not to be. Batting first we only managed to post 113, Manoj making 37 and Sindhu 26. We started well with the ball with Siddharth taking 3/28 and Kwinana 4/49, but a big partnership took the game away from us and any hope of making the finals, as they posted 8/222. A great start to the season fell away at the end losing our last 7 games but well done on taking it to the wire. Next year fellas.

Batting first we lost Safil early but Yesudas Kuriakose and Sethuraj Rajendran piled on the runs in a big partnership of 120 until Yesudas fell for a well made 44. Shanab went quickly but Johnpaul with 33 stayed with Sethuraj to the end in another big partnership of 95, allowing Sethuraj to post his century, finally making 112no off 102 balls with 9 fours and 4 sixes in a team total of 3/235.
