Fourth Grade in good shape, Sixth Grade have a run chase and we win 4 out of 5 one day games this weekend.
Fourth Grade traveled to Cockburn, won the toss and batted first. Opener MT Saleem batted well after 2 wickets fell to get us back on track. His 44, along with Haroon making 43 and Sunil Dogra also making 43 set up a good team score. Salman Farsi added 26 to get our total to 201 off 57 overs. We then had 9 overs at the Cavaliers, leaving them in trouble at 3/15, Vijay taking 2/4 and Saeed 1/6. Well done lads!
Sixth Grade were at home to Cockburn won the toss and bowled first. Cockburn got away to a solid start but that was halted by Jackson Curthoys 2/38 taking both openers. Guri Singh 5/75 bowled well all day taking another 5 wicket haul off 25 overs as Cockburn went from 8/159 to 9/219, the tail adding valuable runs for Cockburn. A big run chase is needed next week from the Tigers.

Seventh Grade had a one day game at home to Jandakot, lost the toss and batted first. A brilliant 76 from 74 balls from opener Mohamad Aamer which included 10 fours and 3 sixes set up a big score. Manoj Kiradi with 21 and Abdul Aziz who made 37 in quick time, helped the team total to reach 229. Jandakot started well but were no match for our bowlers as we bowled them out for 121, Reddy leading the way with 3/8, Siva Ankam with 2/21 removed both openers, Manoj Kiradi took 2/8 for a great all round performance. A very dominant win!!

ODB were away to Thornlie and had back to back losses for the first time. We won the toss and bowled first. we started well keeping the runs down and taking wickets regularly reducing Thornlie to 6/86, but some late order hitting got them to 8/168. The run chase started badly and did not improve as we were bundled out for a disappointing 36. Let’s bounce back next week boys!!
ODC were away to Kardinya, won the toss and batted first. An early wicket was followed by a match winning partnership of 92 between Sujit 47 and Eldhose 51. Captain Nithin has been in fine form as he added valuable runs at the end with 39, to get our total to 8/187. Kardinya got off to a great start adding 123 for the first wicket, but Santhosh Sunny took 2 quick wickets and Jobin Thomas took another 2 to leave them at 4/131. Our bowlers were able to restrict their scoring and kept them to 5/172 as we scraped home by 15 runs. A good outcome in a close game.
ODE were at Sutherlands to Willetton, lost the toss and bowled first. Our bowlers were on top as Anto Baby with 3/18 got both openers early but Willetton fought back to get to 3/84 then 4/112 but Safil Sharif snared 2/15 to keep them to 6/134. The run chase started well getting to 2/41 when the inform Yesudas Kuriakose, after his 99 last week, made another brilliant 88no off 90 balls with 11 fours and 1 six. Safil Sharif made a quick 34, but then Captain Stefan Varughese 37 teamed up with Yesudas to put on 100 partnership, finally getting the Tigers to 5/222 and a big win.
ODG were away to Piara Waters, lost the toss and batted first. AOur openers got us off to a great start adding 66 for the first wicket, Sandeepa Vedage making 35 and Sakun 34. We lost a few quick wickets, but Lakmal Madushanka smashed 40 off 39 to get us to 177. Vihanga Silva with 2/24 removed both openers as Piara waters fought back to make a game of it. Lakmal took 2/32 and Adeesha Welgama 2/20 with Piara ending on 8/145, keeping the Tigers on top of the ladder.
