Round 2 of the T20s saw our 4th Grade qualify for the semi final and our 6th Grade move into 2nd spot, while our 5th Grade will miss out on finals action.

4th Grade were away to Riverton/Rostrata, lost the toss and were sent into bat. The boys got away to a flying start with 44 on the board before Kanwar Deep, in his first game for the Tigers, departed for a brisk 27. The second wicket produced 62 runs from opener Syed and Haroon, until Haroon, with 25 from 20 balls, lost his wicket. Daljeet came and went and then opener Syed was removed for a brilliant 49 from 32 balls and we were 4/111. Wickets started to tumble until Nirmal Singh, in his debut for the Tigers, blasted 20 from 6 balls and the Tigers made an impressive 9/155. The run chase from Riv/Rostrata started solidly with them losing their 2nd wicket on 79, but nobody could stay with their opener, who made 61, as they ran out of overs with the score on 7/142 and a 13 run win for the Tigers. Guri Singh taking 2/23 and 1 wicket each to Vijay, Farooq, Nirmal and Saeed. Well done boys!

5th Grade were at home to Cockburn, lost the toss and were sent into bat. Della departed early which bought Jared 10 to the crease, who added 24 runs together with Salman 15, promoted up the order. Paul Abbott had four boundaries in his 23, but nothing really got going for the Tigers and after 20 overs we finished on 7/98. Defending a low score was always going to be tough and Cockburn passed the total with 6 overs to spare. A wicket each to Wynan, Bryce and Angad in their total of 3/99.

6th Grade were at home to Cockburn 2, who we played in the last fixture. Won the toss, again and sent them into bat. With a few changes to the team, and Tyler as Captain, we saw Irosh and Gihan from ODD open the bowling for us, with Irosh getting the breakthrough on 22 in the 3rd over. Cockburn continued to bat aggressively and reached 46 in the 7th over, but the introduction of Asim had instant rewards, along with Connor 1/21, they took 3 wickets for 6 runs and reduced them to 4/52 and slowed the runs right down. Asim took another wicket which had them 5/71 in the 13th over, Asim finishing with the fine figures of 3/10 from his 4 overs. 45 runs were added in the next 5 overs until Umar removed their run scorer and Callum took a wicket, leaving them on 7/128. The run chase saw Richo depart in the first over, but the Richards brothers added 37 runs in 5 overs before Tyler was removed for a well made 20. Callum and Umar put on 39 in 6 overs, with Umar dismissed for a quick 25, we were 79 after 11 overs and on track. Sanjeev joined Callum and on 102 we lost Callum for a strong 32 and then Asim for a golden and we were 5/102 in the 13th over. Irosh joined Sanjeev and they knocked off the final runs in 4 overs with Sanjeev hitting a six to wrap them up in the 18th over, Sanjeev finishing on 26no and Irosh 11no. We will need to win our last game vs SJ Blues to guarantee a finals berth.
