6th Grade keep winning and 7th grade comes up short, while our OD Grades take a break.

Our 6th grade premiers continued their game vs Kardinya chasing just 106 runs for victory. Things looked shaky early as we were reduced to 5/35 and then 6/52 with some very tight bowling, but a solid knock of 30 off 106 balls from Farooq Ali and then a brutal innings from Saeed Ahmad of 41 from 42 deliveries with 1 six and 4 fours secured the win as we were finally bowled out for 125 from 57 overs. A quick 7 overs at Kardinya produced 2 wickets, one each from Guri and Vijay ending the game on 2/22. This game secures us in first place, well done lads!

7th grade were chasing 228 vs top side Forrestdale and a poor start saw us at 4/22, but a solid 28 from Dempsey Badorek steadied things a little, but his fall saw us reduced to 8/69, but a fighting partnership of 36 between Wynand Gouws 22 and Paul Mclean 22 gave the total some respect at 105 all out from 50 overs. Ten overs at Forrestdale saw 2 wickets fall, one to Jared and one run out. We need a big win next game to stay in finals contention.
