6th Grade were away to Riverton Rostrata, won the toss and sent them in, eventually bowling them out for 165, Jackson Curthoys in his 99th game for the Tigers took 3/17 and Devin Pathinaike 3/50 were the main destroyers. A good batting performance next week can finish the season on a high.

ODA travelled to Champion Lakes lost the toss and then bowled them out for just 138 with Vijay Kumar 3/30 and FS Ali 2/19 the main wicket takers. The chase started well and at 3/83 we looked in control but a batting collapse saw us lose 7 for 24 and all out for 107. Vijay Kumar 26 and Asim Mehmood 21were the best with the bat. The loss sees us slide to third on the ladder so a must win next week boys.

ODC played at home to Leeming lost the toss and were sent in. Wickets fell very steadily and we were rolled for just 100, Naveen Tirupari 36 was our only batsman to shine. In reply Leeming scored 6/176, Reddy Madamshetti 3/31 and Krishna Kalluri 2/46 the best of our bowlers. We just hang on to 2nd place and a must win next week to stay there.

ODE were at home to Bicton/Attadale, winning the toss and batting first we hung on well with most bats contributing, we reached 5/152 with sundries top scoring on 45, Manu 22, Tyler Richards in his first game of the season 22, Stewie 20, Russell 19no and Callum 13no. Our bowlers bowled very tight from the start keeping them to 1/27 after 15 overs, but then the big hitters came in. We looked in control at 6/93 but some loose bowling saw them on top at 7/142 and 3 overs left. It took some real guts and a great run out to snatch victory and bowl them out for 148, Stewie 3/22 Manu 2/46 and Asim 2/48. This keeps us in 2nd place and a win next week will guarantee a home final.

Waqas Mehdi Captain of ODA played his 50th game for the Tigers on Saturday. He has been at the Tigers for 4 seasons, scored 1328 runs at an average of 28.26 with six fifties and 1 century, 101 vs Perth Tamil last season. With the ball he has taken 63 wickets at an average of 15.63 with 2 five-fors and a best of 6/8 vs Safety Bay last season. As a Captain he has a win percentage of 72.73. Congrats Waqas!

Vijay Kumar from ODA took 3/30 on Saturday which took his wicket tally to 201 (20th overall) at an average of 16.18 with 1 five-for 5/36 vs Forrestdale last season. Vijay has been at the Tigers for 9 years and played 8 seasons and 157 games. Vijay has won the Paul Keep cricketer of the year twice in 2015/16 and 2017/18. Congrats Vijay!
