6th Grade played at home vs Cockburn and after a great start with the ball having them 5/55 the next wicket didn’t come till 6/161 and then bowled them out for 164. Our President Steve Hall was a star taking 5/37 and ably supported by Paul McLean with 2/32. We will need to bat all our overs next week to keep the finals hopes alive.

ODA suffered a tight loss to Phoenix, sending in the opposition, they got off to a flyer and amassed 7/202, Vijay Kumar taking 3/26 and A Zaib 2/36. Chasing the score was right on track at 5/168 but a late collapse saw us bowled out for 189 with 3 overs still to bowl. Vijay Kumar top scored with a fine 75 H Ahmed 31, S Syed 30 and Umar Qureshi 24 were the best bats on the day. Let’s get a win next week boys.

ODC continued their winning ways vs Leeming, batting first and with an opening partnership of 73 and a fine 90 from opener Ritesh Kumar, the boys notched up 9/217. The Tigers defended the total with a fine display of bowling from RK Madamshetti 5/19 and SR Katta 2/33 keeping Leeming to just 159.

ODE had a day/night game vs Kenwick and had one of those days with the bat, bowled out for just 88, Aaron Dyer 18 and Richo 15 our top scorers. We tried hard with the ball but some early dropped catches never had us in the hunt. Stuart Riseley 3/23 and Asim Qureshi 3/31 bowled brilliantly but Kenwick still amassed 9/177. We need to bounce back next week.
