6th Grade made short work of bowling Perth Tamil out for just 57 in 27 overs defending their 9/258 last week. Top bowling by Shane Wood 4/20, Devin Pathinaike 4/11 and Jackson Curthoys 2/14. The boys then sent them back in to follow on and had them 2/1 at tea. Some resolute batting by Perth Tamil held up our effort for an outright win and they ended up on 6/92. Devin taking 2/17 and the other 4 wickets shared around. A big win boys and we’re looking forward to next week.

ODA won the toss and batted first making a very respectable 167 with Vijay Kumar top scoring with 56, Satvinder Singh 36no, Farooq Ali 22 and Umar Qureshi 21. The Tigers struck early with the ball and had Champion Lakes reeling at 5/38 and then finally polishing them off for 102 off 31 overs. Brilliant bowling from Gursewak Singh taking 4/3 and Asim Mehmood 2/21 was the highlight of the game. Keep the winning feeling going boys.

ODC had a tough game vs Biction/Attadale after being sent in and making 161 from 36 overs with Dinakar Narasani top scoring with 45, Ritesh Kumar 21 and Abishek Ghai 20. The Tigers were on top early with the ball before a partnership of 129 broke the game open and Bicton finished with 8/225. Krishna Kalluri taking 3/51, Karnum Nagarjuna 3/49 and Srinivas Katta 2/26 the best of the bowlers.

ODE had another good win, batting first we made 8/181 with some fine lower order batting in the last 10 overs. Manu Pathinaike top scoring with 47, Keegan Bennett 33 and Callum Richards 21 the best of the batsmen. We struggled early with the ball but really tightened up their scoring opportunities made them play some rash shots and dried up the runs. We kept them to just 5/156, our spinners Asim Qureshi 2/25 and Manu 2/28 the best of our bowlers. Four wins out of five sees ODE sitting in 3rd place.
