Yesterday at Coker Park history was made in ODE when Siddhanth Mokala scored a double century, making 212 not out from 130 balls in 35 overs with 25 fours and 9 sixes. This has not been done at Tigerland since 1967 (58 years ago) when Alan Broadbent scored 263 in a Grand Final vs Gosnells.
The partnership of 272 unbeaten, with batting partner Dinakar Narasani, making 65no, is the highest in club history, eclipising the partnership of Alan Broadbent and Godfrey Woods, also in 1967, of 255 unbeaten.
This is just the 7th double century partnership and the second double century for the Tigers.
The Tigers won the game vs North Baldivis 2/322 to 8/123.
Congratulations Siddhanth and Dinakar for an amazing achievement.
