Our 2 day teams win one and lose 2 as our one day teams win three and lose one. A Tiger goes big with an amazing century, another 5 wicket haul and another Tiger passes a milestone.

4th Grade lost vs Kelmscott. Defending 239 our bowlers were not able to break their batsmen as they piled on 6/312, Umar Qureshi taking 3/7 at the end of the innings. Need a big bounce back next week.

6th Grade won vs North Baldivis. Continuing their winning ways we had Nth Baldivis at 5/16 and the wickets kept tumbling to roll them for 36. Steve Hall taking 5/5 from 10 overs with 8 maidens and Guri Singh taking 4/25. We batted a second time and declared at 4/78 with Shamez making 23 and Guri Singh a quickfire 33no. Going for the outright win we managed to take 6 wickets for 63 from 29 overs. Steve Hall taking 2/16. Great win and top of the ladder for the Tigers!

7th Grade lost vs Cockburn. Chasing 233 we started well but wickets started to fall as we came up short of the target on 187, Opener Siddhanth Mokala batted at a run a ball for a well made 56 and Captain, Sindhu Govindu 54. Need to turn it around next week.

ODA won vs Forrestdale. Bowling first they got away to a flying start to be 0/62 but our bowlers rallied to bowl them out for 121. Manoj Kiradi taking 4/30, Captain, Reddy Madamshetti taking 3/30 and passing 150 wickets for the Tigers in doing so, and Ravi tej Mungi taking 2/23. In the chase we passed the target in 28.3 overs with Dwarakanath Canakapalli Naga top scoring with 37 and Satish babu Mosuganti scoring 22no and guiding us home.

ODB won vs Hilton/Bicton. Batting first we got away to a fast start thanks to opener Sethuraj Rajendran getting to 3/104. He was then joined by Captain, Suneeth Vinod Suseela as they put on a partnership of 115 until Sethuraj Rajendran was out for 128 from 122 balls with 13 fours and 6 sixes. Suneeth Vinod Suseela made 64 off 47 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. The team total reached 7/251. Hilton/Bicton were never in the hunt as they finished on 127 with Rahul Reghunathan Nair taking 3/6 and Santhosh Sunny 2/24. ODB still unbeaten after 6 rounds.

Sethuraj Rajendran scores 128 off 122 balls with 13 fours and 6 sixes

ODD lost in a close game vs Canning Vale. Batting first we posted a good score of 9/195 with Captain, Stefan Varughese keeping up his good form with 43 and Safil Sharif making 37. Our bowlers kept it close as it came down to the last over with them needing 5 runs, but we couldn’t contain them as they ended on 7/201. Melvin Thomas bowled well taking 3/29, Safil Sharif 2/30 and Jobin Thomas 2/41. The loss drops us to 3rd.

ODE won vs Leeming. Batting first we made a solid 6/159 with opener Missaka Wickramasinghe making 38, Rusiru Pitiyage also made 38 and Captain, Mohamed Zainudeen 27. Leeming gave it a good shake but our bowlers kept it tight to keep them to 9/135 with Nuwan Arachchige taking 3/26, Yasas Gunasekara 2/26 and Rusiru Pitiyage having a good allround game with 2/15. We sit firmly in 2nd place.

Congratulations to Reddy Madamshetti for passing 150 wickets for the Tigers on Saturday with his 3/30 vs Forrestdale. Reddy is the 18th fastest Tiger to 150 wickets taking 100 innings to do it. He is the 31st Tiger to pass the milestone and he did it at an average of 17.12 with 2 five wicket hauls and a best of 6/18. Reddy has played in 104 games for the Tigers and is in his 9th season at Tigerland. Well done Reddy.
