A great start to the season with our 3 two day grades all winning their one day matches in great style.
4th Grade won vs Perth Tamil. Batting first we made 156 thanks mostly to Haroon Ahmed with a brilliant 75 with 11 fours. We then bowled Perth Tamil out for 115 with Sooraj taking 4/21 on debut for the Tigers and Ajimon Thurai taking 3/21 along with Jaspreet Chhabra taking 3/12. Well done fellas.
6th Grade won vs Jandakot. Bowling first we managed to keep Jandakot down to 6/148 with Guri Singh taking 3/23. In the chase our openers put on a brilliant opening stand of 100 with Deepak Saini making 45 and Shamez Rashid finishing on 64 with 10 fours and 1 six. Matt Pedulla added 28 runs at the end for a winning total of 214. Great start Tigers.
7th Grade won vs Phoenix. Batting first we posted a brilliant score of 8/245 with opener Siddhanth Mokala making 89 from 68 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes with some power hitting and Manoj Yelavarthy making 40. In the chase Phoenix batted conservatively posting 2/194 with a wicket each to Wajahat Nazeer and Shashi Pidikiti. Great start in 7th grade lads.
