A tough weekend in the heat for the Tigers, ODC keep up their winning streak.

Fourth Grade were chasing a massive score of 316 vs Kenwick, The chase started badly losing an early wicket and then 10 maidens in a row and another wicket saw us slump to 2/4 from 16 overs. It wasn’t till Nirmal Singh came in that the scoreboard started to move, Nirmal making 66 from 95 balls including 5 fours and 5 sixes. The Tigers dissmissed for 119 from 58 overs. Kenwick batted again and ended on 4/56 with Jodat Malik taking 2/7 and a wicket each to Sunil and Vijay.

Sixth Grade were defending 158 vs Phoenix and our bowlers were on top at the start keeping them to 4/53 after 30 overs with the big wicket in the shed. From there Phoenix went on the attack, with a couple of dubious decisions not going the Tigers way, they added a 206 run partnership to finish on 5/290. Steve Hall 2/49 and Jackson Curthoys 2/34 bowled well and Asim taking 1/64. A disappointing result after such a good start.

ODC were away to East Fremantle, won the toss and batted first. Opener Sujit Pankajakshan played well for his 34 departing with the Tigers on 3/72, Santhosh Sunny 25 and Cristo Clement 55 who kept up his good form after his century last week with 8 fours and 1 six with Nithin Radhakrishna 23 with 2 sixes and 1 four at the end getting the Tigers to 181. Our bowlers started off great reducing East Freo to 4/26, Jouhar Khan in fine form taking 3/13. A bit of a partnership was finished by Santhosh Sunny 2/14 with the Tigers bowling them out for 135 and a big win. A wicket each to Anto, Abin and Vipin, our hat trick man. Keep up the wins boys!

ODE were at home to Armadale, won the toss and bowled first. Amal Babu 3/48 struck early blows keeping Armadale to 2/24 but their bats got on top, Safil Sharif 2/17 snared 2 wickets to have them 6/140 but the tail wagged and they ended with 8/200, a big chase. Our openers had a brilliant start adding 68 with Safil Sharif falling for 27 but 2 quick wickets including other opener Jijinlal KG for 27 saw us in trouble. Riju Mathew 20 and Syed Ali 23 boosted our score to 6/127 but our tail was unable to get the runs needed, bowled out for 156 with 9 overs still to go. A tough loss!
