A great weekend with 4 wins and 1 loss as our One Day teams dominate the T20 competition.

4th Grade were chasing 105 for victory vs Kardinya resuming on 1/26 they would lose Farooq quickly followed by MT Saleem having to retire hurt, we were now 3/28. Haroon would join Umar to rebuild the innings and take us onto victory with a magnificent partnership of 132 with Haroon making 42 before being dismissed and the Tigers now 4/160. Umar would be next to go on 180 after a brilliant innings of 88. The Tigers pushed on ending on 239 and Captain Shamez even hitting a six. Kardinya had to bat for 12 overs and ended on 2/38 with a wicket each to Guri and FS Ali. Another big win for the boys!

6th Grade had Roleystone at 2/39 and quick wickets were in need if victory was to be achieved. 2 wickets fell with the score on 53 by Asim and Russell both caught in the deep by Callum but a solid partnership would get them over the line and them reaching 7/147 at the tea break where they would declare. Asim taking 3/35 and Callum Richards taking 5 catches in the field, the second best in Tigers history by a fielder.

Batting a second time we played with much more positivity reaching 6/92 at stumps after 28 overs. Back to the one day games next week and back in the win column!

ODC T20 were away to Armadale lost the toss and were sent into bat. After an early wicket, opener Sarath Mohan and number three Jijinlal KG would launch an attack on the bowling adding 102 runs in quick time before KG fell for 47 off 37 balls. Mohan would go on to make 75 from 58 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes and the team ended on 5/167.

Armadale were no match for our bowlers, who shared the wickets around with Armadale finishing their 20 overs on 9/119. Roy Abin with 2/25 and six other bowlers taking a wicket each. One more T20 to go as we head for a top of the table position.

ODE T20 were at home to Willetton in the second game of a double header, won the toss and batted first. Our openers Safil 27 and Eldhose 30 got us off to a flying start adding 68 runs from 36 balls between them with 9 fours and 2 sixes. It set up a big score, after losing 4 wickets in the middle overs, Akhil 58 off 28 deliveries and Stefan 23 smashed 80 runs off just 49 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. The Tigers ending on 7/194.

Our bowlers struck early and kept taking wickets to reduce Willetton to 8/48 with Safil Sharif doing the most damage with 3/11 and Rahul Nair 2/5. Their tail enders added another 32 runs without loss and Willetton ended on 8/80, Yesudas Kuriakose taking 2/21 and the Tigers with a complete domination of the opposition. Let’s keep winning boys!

ODH T20 played their first game at home in a double header on Coker Park B ground vs Roleystone, won the toss and bowled first. Our bowlers dominated the Roleystone batting line up keeping them to 7/80 with only 2 batsmen reaching double figures and if not for 31 wides, their score would have been much worse. Nuwan with 3/17 and Buddika with 2/12 doing most of the damage.

Our batsmen were in an aggressive mood as our openers finished the game in just 6.5 overs without loss, Dilshan Asanka making 50 off 28 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes in his debut with the Tigers and Isuru De Silva making 15 off 13 balls. Such a massive win has us way on top of the T20 table. Go Tigers !!!
