Our 6th and 7th Grade are in good positions and 2 great wins from our 1 day teams, with just 1 week to go before finals.

6th Grade had a top of the table, winner take all clash, vs Thornlie at home. We won the toss and sent them in, with instant success. Our bowlers did a great job to restrict them to 9/87 before a declaration. Vijay Kumar 3/25 and Jodat Malik 2/11 bowled well along with Guri, Farooq and Saleem taking 1 wicket each. We then had to face 9 overs with the loss of 3 wickets for 20 runs. We need to bat well next week to secure top spot.

7th Grade traveled to Jandakot, won the toss and sent them in. A brilliant bowling performance from all bowlers, sent them packing, all out for just 56 off 43 overs. Steve Hall taking the amazing figures of 5/1 off 8 overs with 7 maidens, ably backed by our future star, Jared Delamere, taking 4/16 off 13 overs. We then batted for 16 overs, ending on 4/32, with only 25 runs to secure victory.

ODD traveled to Armadale with a must win on their schedule, winning the toss and batting first. We got away to a flying start with our openers putting on 86 with Joseph Wijayamuni 42 and Arjuna Hettiarachchi 46 and then solid knocks from Naleen Fernando 38 and Hasi Kodagoda 32no, gave us a total of 5/189. Our bowlers then proceeded to dismantle their batting line up by bowling them out for just 58 from 28 overs. Sansala Dissanyake taking 4/6 off his 7 overs, Naleen Fernando 3/8 off his 7 overs and Irosh Ranathunga 2/15 were the best of a great bowling display. We still need to win our last game to guarantee a finals berth.

ODG had a must win game vs 4th placed Maddington to stay on top of the ladder, at Coker Park. We lost the toss and were sent in on an overcast day and got off to a disastrous start losing 4 wickets for 17 runs after 10 overs with 3 ducks. Another wicket fell at 5/32 before a rearguard fightback from Richo 37 and Connor 20, putting on 68 before Connor fell in the 32nd over. We were finally bowled out with just 1 ball to go for 107, but a small total was going to be tough against our bowling attack, which it showed to be. Brian 3/11 and Stuey 1/13 gave nothing away as we started chipping into their batting line up reducing them to 5/28 before a bit of a fight back from them saw them reach 5/63 at drinks. Aaron Dyer 4/27 then produced his magic, along with Ambo 2/7 who would take his 400th wicket for the Tigers, they were now 8/72 off 25 overs. Ambo and Brian would finish them off in the 33rd over for 95, getting us a fantastic win. A top of the table clash with Thornlie next week will give the winner top spot.
