6th Grade could only muster 8 players vs SJ Blues. We won the toss and batted first lasting 43 overs for a total of 90, Shane Wood 30 and Steve Hall 21 our best with the bat. With the ball the boys bowled 18 tight overs and have them 2/52 at stumps.

ODA had a loss vs Willetton, bowling first the opposition piled on 6/196 with Asim Mehmood 3/41 and Waqas Mehdi 2/37 our best bowlers. The chase started well and at 2/85 we looked on track but a big collapse saw us bowled out for 117, Muhammad Ehsan 46 and Vijay Kumar 32 the best of our bats.

ODC just keep on winning, this time vs Thornlie. Sending them in and keeping them to 7/171 Kukkula 2/17 and Madamshetti 2/31 the best bowlers. The chase went well with solid partnerships throughout finally making 8/215, Siva Ankam 48 SR Katta 29, Narasani 27 and Yelavarthy 27 the best of our bats.

ODE had a great win vs unbeaten Kenwick who we haven’t beaten in some years. We were sent in and made sure we batted all our overs. A 105 run second wicket partnership between Mark Richards 30 and Stuart Riseley 80 set up the score of 6/190 with Mark Delamere 32no playing well at the end. With the ball we struck early taking out the captain in the first over and 2 more wickets in the second. A steady fall of wickets saw us bowl them out for just 75, Stuart Riseley 3/14, Russell Tillbrook 2/16 and a wicket each from the rest sealed a fantastic win and keeps us in 2nd place. well done Boys!

Milestones for the Tigers

Stuart Riseley from ODE passed 4500 runs with his brilliant knock of 80, sitting now at 4540 runs (5th place overall) at an average of 19.16 and a highest score of 121 vs Hilton in 2008/09. He has scored 1 century and 19 Fifties for the Tigers. Stuart has played 246 games in his 20th season and has been at the Tigers for 24 years. He has won the Paul Keep cricketer of the year twice, in 2008/09 and in 2014/15. Congrats Stewie!

Dinakar Narasani from ODC passed 500 runs for the Tigers now sitting on 518 runs at an average of 24.67, he has hit 2 fifties and a highest score of 84 vs Leeming this season. He has played in 29 games in his second season at Tigerland. Well done Dinakar!
